Finally online again!!

Just got connected again to the internet yesterday- thank goodness! I've felt sooo disconnected not having internet access! Adam's parents have been very gracious in letting me use their computer but it only has a dial up connection and anyone who has high speed knows how frustrating it is going back. I just checked email from time to time, but lacked the patience to do much more than that.

Anyway, I don't have much time so I will try to make this update quick. We are all getting settled here in Boise. I started my job a week ago and can't wait to get a month or two under my belt so that I don't feel like such an idiot. That's all I have to say about that at this point. Adam has been working with a landscaping company putting in sprinkler systems and is really liking it. We've been enjoying our first full fledged autumn in awhile, not missing that Seattle rain! Definately missing our Seattle friends though (esp. my great work friends :( boo hoo!!)!

Emery is doing fantastic as usual. He's walking everywhere now and trying to perfect his run at the moment. I give him another week. He's got all of his front teeth except for the last front top tooth, and even two top molars with the cooresponding bottom ones on the way! He's so damn cute, we call him our little hobo at the moment. Once that front tooth comes in he'll have his full front set and that hobo look will be a thing of the past.

He's also just a little chatterbox these days. He points to everything and says "ssat?", then waits for us to tell him what it is. Of course he knows what it is (it's always the same things he points to, the light, his piggy bank, plants, etc.), then when we respond accordingly he smiles real big. He's such an inquisitive kid, I love it! He waves bye-bye now, and mouths bye-bye too, he just hasn't quite perfected the sounds yet. He also says "key" for the kitty cat Chloe. Chloe is still great with him, but she's learning to keep more of distance. He goes after her with a vengence now and grabs fistfulls of her hair and skin every chance he gets. She hasn't retaliated yet, but I'm sure that will come with time.

I can't believe he's already going to have a birthday in less than three weeks!! I got him a frog costume (they were out of the monkey ones which was my first pick) and he looks just adorable! I just hope it still fits at the end of the month!! I figure I could go as a princess and Adam could be the prince after the kiss to complete the theme. We're planning a nice Halloween party since his birthday falls on the Saturday before, so mark your calenders! I'll try to get the invites out ASAP but things have been hectic these days. I think I may just do an evite to keep things simple.
