Week 38, day 5

Another long day, but feeling pretty good! My doctors appointment went well. I got measured, weighed and listened to Emery's heartbeat. Everything is right on track. Adam and I asked lots of questions about who to call when, and what possible things will happen if I go overdue. Dr. McKee believes in the least intervention as possible, which both Adam and I like. It looks like we'll play the wait and see approach until about 10 days overdue, then if necessary discuss stripping the membranes, induction, etc. I hope it doesn't come to that! We won't go back for another appointment until my due date, only a little over a week away!
