Week 36 prenatal visit

Nothing too exciting to tell for this one. Got my group B strep test- fun fun! I am growing right on schedule and everything is looking good, so good in fact that I don't need to go back for another 2 weeks. Had alot of questions answered about labor and delivery, now we're ready to write up the birth plan (my goal for the week). 25 days until D-Day (due date)- where did the time go? We're both getting very excited!

Meet the dinosaurs, Adam's favorite baby shower gifts. I'm not sure who will get more enjoyment out of them, the baby or Adam. I can already hear the storylines....

My first blog

Hi all! As you can see, things are moving right along! As of this coming Friday I will be considered full term! For those of you out of the loop, my due date is October 22nd...its coming up quick!
Adam and I had our tour of the birthing facility (Group Health Family Beginnings on Capitol Hill- our favorite neighborhood) yesterday and were happy with what we saw. We will have our own private room and Emery will be able to room-in with us. There is even a fold out bed for Adam. I personally am most excited about the jacuzzi spa, I definately will put that baby to use! We are getting very excited and have been working hard to get some last minute things done before the big day!
Tomorrow I have another prenatal appointment and should be getting some info on my dialation and effacement. I will also get a group B strep test. I hope I don't have it, I am avoiding an IV at all costs (although everyone tells me that I will be in so much pain the IV will be the last thing I'll be worried about. Is that supposed to make me feel better?). From now on I will be visiting the doctor every week until my due date. I'll keep you posted!
